Starting today, something is wrong with the search field at the top. Sometimes I will enter search text and it will ignore it. It also no longer displays matches as I type. This is not because of Graph Search which was two weeks ago.
Also there's a white "f" next to the search field. I'm not sure what it's for except possibly to go Home. It shouldn't be there unless the users can know what it is.
Sometimes it says "search here" in gray and then when I type, my own text overlaps with what is there, which is ridiculous.
Solved: I updated my Firefox from 13.0 to 23.0 and the search field works okay.
I stopped updating Firefox over a year ago because they started releasing new updates too often.
