Well it's a slow desktop adequate for basic web surfing, email, light word processing but not much else. I sure as heck wouldn't buy any insurance protection on it -- especially at $80 (1/3 of its price!)

$80 for three years.... there is also another tower with keyboard and mouse with 6gb memory, and one tb of hard drive, for $500. What do you think of this one?

Well, there's a 1yr warranty so it's $80 for 2 years just-in-case.
What will you be using your PC for? What is your budget?
A Gateway? Are you old enough to remember the EMachine? As its built by the same people. do not waste your money on it at any price. Are you looking based on its price or based in its small case size?
If its by case size look for a HP slimline.
