When I used IE browser I could customize the web page color, is there such a feature in Chrome? (not talking about the theme, but the web page background, which is usually white, like this CD web site) I went to settings and there is nothing like that, only themes. Anyone knows how it could be done?

Take a look....

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...klacgmcc?hl=en

If you don't like that go to the Google Play Store and search on: how to customize background color chrome

There are quite a few different apps for what you want to do...

Thanks, so customizing is not free? Why can't they be as simple and easy as IE, where you just go to Options and set color, including windows color (which I already personalized)?

Did you see something I didn't in their web store? It was free as in most things on there...

I D/L that app I I told you about and saw nothing about costing $$$ or this is a trial version...

To answer your question about "make it simpler" the Google folks probably decided to concentrate on security over looks and gimmicks....

Sorry, but by customizing I actually meant to set whatever color the user like, rather than chosen a ready version from the many provided. e.g. in IE (when I used it ages ago) I could go to option, appearance, color, and get the color spectrum and make whatever color for the webpage, link color, hover color, etc., such as purple, or some color in between green and blue.... I didn't find such possibility at the link you provided.
