For the last few days, I've been getting the "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" box pop up almost every time I try to back out of a site. True, all I have to do is click on "leave this page" but it's getting annoying. Anyone else have this problem? What have you been able to do to remedy it? HELP! I have Windows 10 on a Lenovo Yoga and I use Windows Explorer.
Is it happening on all websites or just a certain site? If it's just one certain site then it's likely the coding of the website and not an issue with your browser. I get that message using Chrome sometimes. It usually happens if I'm on a website with an open form (where I'm typing something and don't submit the information).

It's great idea for certain things but certainly can be abused and will be... <sigh>
City data for example uses this on replies but only if you actually type something in. They can further enhance this by having a check box, "don't show me this message again"
Someone on another board said it is a Microsoft "patch" problem and that they will eventually fix it. He said it has popped up before.
I'm a complete computer idiot.....it either works or it doesn't.
If it doesn't resolve itself, I'll go find a neighborhood kid to fix it for me - LOL.
