What do you like about Foxit that makes it superior to NitroPro?
Just curious, as I am open to switching.
I actually wouldn't recommend Foxit over Nitro if you are happy with it.
I switched my office from Adobe to Foxit.
The #1 thing I like about it is how it (almost blatantly) behaves like Adobe Acrobat PRE-DC. Seriously, if I was Adobe I would consider suing because even right down to some of the basic dialog boxes... they look IDENTICAL to the Adobe counterparts. It may be under a different menu heading but once you find it... it was easy for my end users to adjust.
When I first upgraded to DC, I was appalled at how bad it is. I cannot believe ANYONE is paying monthly for that. *Mind Blown* I even started writing a list of all the things I hated about it because I intended to do a review.
Here's just 3 reason Foxit kills Adobe:
Click HELP in Foxit and it takes you....to a HELP file. Imagine that? Click it in DC? Takes you to a webpage which you then have to use search terms to TRY and find what you need. Useless...may as well just Google.
Call Adobe for help: > India (Included with your $15/mo)
Call Foxit for help: > Fremont, California (FREE for life)
The navigation is just flat out easier on Foxit and Nitro. I hate what Adobe did with DC...
I use to be an Adobe fan... Die Adobe... Die....
The ONLY reason I use Adobe Acrobat DC is the one plugin my law firm occasionally uses only works in Adobe. It saves us and our clients money.
Sumatra is lightweight and free reader for any books formats such as .pdf, ,djvu, e-pub etc.
