I used to go by articles brought to me from Flipboard. That way only led to controversy as articles disagreed with one another. So I tried another approach by doing an Internet search by Googling asking Do quantum computers exist? The lead article says no.
I figure on a topic as controversial as this, it's worth a poll. Here is the lead article:
A poll? You've got to be kidding. How about a poll regarding your existence? Of course they exist, just not in any practical form yet. Still experimental. But any student of the computer engineering literature would know this. Are you saying you don't rely on reputable sources?

Define practical form. I can bring up evidence that contradicts what you're saying. Are you a "reputable source?" What are your credentials?
Still looking for something substantial.

I'm going to answer my own question based on further internet research.
First both IBM and D-Wave say they have quantum computers (although controversy exists about D-Wave's annealing quantum computer).
Next I've read that over the next five years, universal quantum computers are coming out (a universal quantum computer is a quantum computer that can perform many tasks).
I also read that we'd have to wait 50 years for a quantum computer to come out!
Based on all this, my conclusion is there are different types of quantum computers with their own characteristics. For further details, you can check NextBigFuture and other websites.
Sometimes I come up with answers to my questions that no one else can (even to the present day).

What have you come up with that no one else has? You've just stated a fact that would've been obvious with thirty seconds of searching.
You called out another poster saying you had evidence to the contrary, then piped in a month later to agree with the person you were calling out earlier.
Are you actually looking for some discussion of the topic, or just looking to post throwaway nothing statements? It sure looks like you're going for the latter.

Post #5 answers your first paragraph (and no it wasn't obvious which took me about a month to clarify). The purpose of the post was to let the users know they didn't need to respond to the OP.
Your second paragraph is unclear and doesn't relate to this thread.
Post #7 was a response to Elnina. In answer to your last paragraph, I'm not looking for anything as I answered my own question.
