I've been using the Groove Music app that comes installed on Windows10 for several years and really like it. Unfortunately, an iTunes update failed to install properly, crashing both iTunes and Groove Music. I was able to fix iTunes by uninstalling and reinstalling. No such luck with Groove Music. It seemed to uninstall properly and reinstall properly, but the app still opens briefly, displays the initial window and then shuts down. I rebooted between each step. I'm open to any suggestions for restoring the Groove Music s/w.
I found an
MS support document for troubleshooting Groove Music. It calls for opening the "Libraries" files in windows explorer and deleting all these files, then restoring the default libraries. Unfortunately, these libraries files look
exactly like all my documents, photos, music, etc. At that point, I chickened out. Is it
really safe to delete these library files, without losing my documents??
I got everything backed up, but still....
Thanks for any thoughts and opinions
