Just wondering who has a MacBook Air and what problems they have had with it, if any. I'm thinking of getting one, or maybe holding off till next generation if I get feedback of glitches. THANKS!

Personally, I'd look more towards the new thinkpad x300. Too many devices have to be attached to the Air imho.

Hi,

Here's my two cents about the MBA (MacBook Air, for those who are not "down with" the Apple slang). You're buying it for the thin factor. Technologically speaking, It's a piece of crap. It doesn't even have an optical drive! The specs are pretty bad, for the price. If you want a computer that actually is worth the money, go with a MacBook or MacBook Pro.

Again, just my opinion.

Yeah, thin factor. 3.1lbs is also pretty damn sweet.

My friend is trying to convince me to go with a macbook pro, and I might just end up doing that... however, here are my reasons for a Macbook Air.
1) I have a desktop and a 17" laptop. Aka, I have storage and optical drives APLENTY.

2) My laptop is like 8-9 lbs and gets something along the lines of 10 mins of battery life due to a dead battery. A brand new battery, I might see 2 hours.

3) I want something lightweight and thin that I can take to classes all day, take notes on and at the end of the day plug it back in for the night, and repeat.

The macbook pro does a pretty good job of all that, but at an expense of a little less battery life, and a heavier enclosure.
