What is (are) Microsoft Rewards -- how to use them, not that I want to, but what are they?

Back when rewards was new, I tried it. Entered some contests with them (never won). You can redeem them for gift cards too for doing nothing more then searching.

Rewards programs are a way to manipulate highly suggestible people into using products that they otherwise never wanted or needed.

It's basically Microsoft offering an incentive to use Bing and some of their other products for searches and stuff. I've been using it for over 10 years now. They have a bunch of offers to cash the points in towards, but I generally just get Amazon gift cards once a month. Every once I a while I'll cash some points in for some Xbox downloads.

My god you are the most cynical person on this website. They aren't all "out to get you"...the world isn't "full of sheep who can't think for themselves"...
