I downloaded Explorer 8 thinking I was not up to date, but it did not work right for me so I re-installed Explorer 7. I briefly downloaded Firefly, but was afraid to try something new. What's your feelings on this? Thanks

I believe IE8 is still in beta testing. So that's probably why it didn't work for you. I've never heard of Firefly (other than the short lived TV series) but I use Firefox as my primary browser. Its a good program.

Firefox is more secure, supports more web content, better made, better supported, and a lot more user-friendly than "the blue E". In my opinion. You should not be afraid to use Firefox. It operates in the same basic way as IE, but you can download add-ons and themes to make Firefox look and work how you want.

I hated IE, now have Safari and am more than happy with it.

Love Firefox. I have a custom skin and tool bar buttons, as well as lots of add on tools. My favorite tools are Cool Iris and Foxmarks...Tabcatalog and Morning coffee are pretty cool too.

There's nothing to do to IE. Just don't use it unless you need to. There are still some sites that only work with IE but for the other 99%, I use Firefox.
