Um, so I went to malwarebytes and then wound up at uniblue driver scanner 2009. Is that what I want to download so I can update my drivers?
I don't have McAfee, I don't like it, had it in the past...terrible experience in my opinion.
No, you want malwarebytes, not any uniblue crap, no idea how you ended up there, click on the blue download button on the left on malwarebytes website.
I downloaded it but a white screen came up and I can't find where the download went. The box says the download was successful but I can't find it.
I'm thinking this system is screwed up and I really need to take it in but I was trying to fix it myself. Maybe I'll just leave it alone.
Based on observation I think it overclocked a long time ago and is shot because it used to sound like a jet ready to take off and now it's more like a dull engine.
I give up. I've spent too much time already trying to figure this out. Ugh.
All this because I thought it was important to update the drivers but that seems like an impossible goal for a person with no knowledge of computers.
In regards to computers I'm dense. However, I do appreciate the help.
yes, you click on the download now link next to the green square image.
Update, my computer is completely "internet STD" free! Thanks again, Dave. (Work computer too, saved me some splainin', lol)
