What are the typical rent prices for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in the Danbury area and surrounding cities? I am wanting to pay less than 1200/mo if possible. Daycare costs or daycare suggestions? Thanks!

It depends on the size, location & style of the apartment (condo, apartment in a 2-3 family home or house). Small 1 bedrooms in a 2-3 family home rent for about $800 a month, old 1 bedroom condos have been renting for about $900 a month, about 25 year old condos have gone for about $1100 a month on the MLS, and there are a couple newer apartment complexes in Danbury that advertise for about $1500+ a month. I see some 2 bedroom units available in multi family homes for about $1150 a month, a couple of condos, a couple of condos around 1200 a month, and then prices just go up for there. These rental prices almost always don't include utilities either. Prices in Brookfield & Bethel are a little bit more expensive but New Milford (2 towns north of Danbury) does have more reasonable prices.
