Help!
A girlfriend and I are meeting up half way, in Hartford. I have a 1 year old, and she has a 1 year old and a 3 year old. What can we do for an afternoon? Any ideas?!

PLEASE! And thanks in advance!

Try the Essex Steam train (Essex), and the Children's Museum (West Hartford). Aquarium (Mystic) and Mystic itself is a great place.

Well if you want to stick close to Hartford you could go to the Children's Museum in West Hartford. Lots of "hands on stuff" after that drive a few blocks down and park in West Hartford Center, park and get icecream, let the kids run around on the green.

If they're into airplanes, why not try the New England Air Museum?
