No, it means that I will no longer be getting paid for referring people to Amazon.com. I test and review outdoors and survival gear. For the products I can recommend, I include links to sites like Amazon where my readers can purchase these items. If they purchase the item, I am paid a small commission for my service which is subject to state income tax. That wasn't nearly enough for Malloy. His new law requires Amazon to add a CT sales tax to the item regardless of where the buyers live because a CT resident played a part in making the sale.
So now, instead of finding a new way to tax nonresidents, he has lost the income tax the state WAS collecting.
What an IDIOT!!!
