Half of the threads in the CT forum pertain to Fairfield county. This area of the state is practically its own independent entity and should have its own separate sub-forum. Yes?
Oh, and if you respond to this thread, please don't capitalize the "c" in "county." It's really annoying. I've seen it a number of times on this forum. Eight generations of my family and their communities did not work hard their whole lives for the elimination of the wasteful county-level government that oppressed them, just for it to be treated with honor years later (largely by New Yorkers, I suspect) by way of capitalizing the "c."
This was tried a few years ago and it didn't work very well since CT is so small. People were cross posting in both the FFC and CT forums and it became very confusing. The reason for this is because a lot of people commute to one County and work in another County.

On Craigslist, interesting, they consider FFC under the NYC area-- versus Connecticut. Bleh, I live in Connecticut. I feel as connected with New Haven as New York.

You should feel more connected with New Haven since you're 30 minutes away, vs 60 to NY.
I will admit, though, living in south-central CT, I feel more connected with NY than I do with Hartford or New London.
There was a time when we had several sub-forums on the Connecticut Board but forum management decided this did not work well for such a small forum so they were eliminated. They did that for all of the other forums, consolidating many and eliminating some. From my experience, I kind of agreed with what they did. There were too many cross posts and it was too confusing. Connecticut is a small state so it just did not work well. JayCT, Moderator
