Looking to buy a sleigh bed, mattress, leather love seat & chair and possibly some other items.

Wondering if we're purchasing enough higher ticket items if you can call for a manager and barter to obtain a discount?

We'd rather get a bunch of items at one location than have to schlep to multiple places trying to find the "best" deals on each individual item.

Anyone with experience/advice?

The only stores you may be able to do that at are perhaps some consignment stores. I know a few that sell used and some new furniture too. But I don't think any retail type furniture chains will give you any discounts for buying more.

It would not hurt to ask. Worst case is that they say no they can not. MOST places have the ability to alter the price of an item (consignment, retail, restaurant, grocery, etc.) because how often have you went somewhere and the price came up different than what you saw? The Supervisor/Manager/Cashier changes the price based on fact or by honesty, or a combination of the 2.
