I am talking about him saying there is a mandatory 10% budget increase and if they do not get that 10% they consider their budget to be cut. Jay

Texas really hasn't gained that many corporations, but that's besides the point.

Texas is a state with 25m+ residents. CT is a state of 3.5m+ residents. Texas has 51 Fortune 500 companies in 2011. CT has 12. That means TX has about 8 times the population, with only 4.something fold members on the Fortune 500 list. It's actually quite unimpressive.
