TWC reports 5-12 inches of rain so far in NC with gusts of 110mph. They also report that it is likely to remain a Cat 1.

It actually doesn't look that bad: you see people driving around in the background. But, then, when Gloria hit us, my brother and I were outside during the storm, playing soccer And, yet, we were without power for days and there was massive flooding.

Just be prepared for a Cat 1.

Just looked at the hourly forcast, highest wind is supposed to be 35 MPH, and most of the afternoon in the low 30's. I was mainly concerned about falling tree's, now I'm more concerned about my backyard which is pretty much a sponge.
