My mind is model crazy..A couple of models are now making a hook to the left at DelMarva...That would be even worse for us.

Keep in mind the size as well as the strength...

I think the theory now is that the trough they were talking about will pull out, but that will actually cause the storm to get pulled up north with it instead of out to sea.

Pressure dropped again, she'll probably be a category 2 as predicted by tomorrow. I still have a hunch that it'll be a very high-end cat 3 if not cat 4 by the time it passes Cape Hatteras.

One model thats most reliable is the HWRF tropical model... Its accuracy is pretty good...

Things can change but here's the models wind speed projections. Cat 1 wind into CT. 70-80mph

11pm update...Direct hit on NYC with a Hurricane. (H) ..M = Major Cat 3 or above. We feared it would miss North Carolina and keep its strength to hit us.
