DMV has a utility on their website to do a vanity plate search.

Department of Motor Vehicles/Vanity Plate

True story, I got an anonymous letter in the mail years ago cussing me out for going to fast or whatever in traffic. *SOMEONE* was abusing their powers. That's as sketchy as it gets right there.

LMFAO!! That was good.

Hey I have an idea..lets make all license plate info available to the public, this way I can find out who cut me off or who's swirving, or who parked in a handicap spot without a sticker, or better yet...you meet a blonde at a red light. LOL

Ever hear of the Department Of Public Safety on Country Club Rd in Middletown? Anyone can go there, fill out the form, pay the fee, and get the information that's needed.

Im pretty sure you're talking about paying to see a police report which has someones info on it but to actually show up and say Here's a license plate number, whats the address of the person who ownes this plate number ...wont be happening.

If you have to find some kind of open driving record in the state of Connecticut, a fine place to start is the Connecticut Department of Public Safety...

...It is vital to understand that searching for Connecticut license plate records is guarded legally and only granted in particular conditions as explained by what the law states.. There will be a fee for the copy of the record should you qualify.

Big brother is watching...Now it's Big Sis! Somebody probably knew a cop and like you said, they acquiesced to their buddy's request and nailed you!

I guess they didn't like that cloud of choking soot coming out of your tailpipe as you blasted by them...
