Hi everyone, I am trying to relocate to New Haven county from The NYC area but I am having a really difficult time finding work in my field. All the jobs for me are in Manhattan, but I'm trying to escape the city life.

I decided I'm fine with starting fresh with significantly less money, but unfortunately that means working outside of my major. Finding any job at all that isn't food service or "sales" online has been hard. Does anyone know of any good job agencies? I am saving money in case I don't find anything for awhile once I move (and renting very cheap) so even temporary work will be helpful until I find something full time.

Thanks much

A friend of mine works for this staffing group:

The McIntyre Group - Connecticut's leading staffing and consulting services firm

I also really like this company, but they are pretty much all Fairfield County jobs:

Hi there,

Local resource for evaluating employment agencies in New Haven. Includes detailed information on local businesses that offers access to employment and staffing agencies, as well as advice on employment opportunities, resume writing, skills assessment, job interviewing techniques and business etiquette. Some employment agencies provides good jobs such as Kaiser Whitney Staffing, Kelly Services, Kotak Money Ka Matlab and many more employment agencies.
