Hi,

I am looking at some input on chossing between Hartford hospital and Middlesex Hospital for delivering my baby.
Middlesex is closer to home but Hartford Hospital seems to be better equipped.

Can someone share their experience with either of the hospitals.

Thanks!!

A relative of mine had her baby at middlesex hospital and she was a higher risk pregnancy. Her baby was born many weeks early and the staff there did a wonderful job taking care of the little one and mom.

Both my niece and nephew were born at Hartford Hospital. I had major surgery there last year. The care was excellent. In my opinion, it's the best hospital in the area.

Hmmm...that is pretty confusing!
I guess I can't go very wrong with either of the 2 hospitals. I wish I had a easier choice to make.

Personally, if I felt they were equally good, I would go with the closer one. It just makes sense.
