Curious what everyone thinks about our new education commissioner. Although he has no education experience (just used to that by now), he does seem to be a consensus builder. I am concerned about his charter connections though - from what I can gather charters are just publicly funded private schools, the next flight from cities (in which there will still be kids left behind), and the pet project of "reformers" who seem to want to tax more middle class an up towns in order to send more into the cities. What are your thoughts?
