If you are going to do the highline then stop at the Chelsea Market for food on 15th and 9th Ave. Thats where I go for my Australian meat pies (tuck shop).

I could be wrong but I don't think it's possible to walk...

I need some help with navigation getting into the city, how easy is it to get into town from Stamford, using the train and subway, etc. I know the places I want to visit - I just don't know how to get there and how to get around. Any information you can share with me?

Also, is there anything in Stamford I should check out? I like museums, art galleries and historical stuff (yes I am a geek).
There's only one major attraction in Stamford. The Antlered Chamataka imperial palace, with a huge Nero like bust perched outside

But seriously, there is NOTHING to see in Stamford And there will be slush and snow all over at that time.

The only tourist attraction I have is the Stamford Mall I go every weekend to buy ties or troll around Macy's.

But if you stay by Marriott, you can go to NYC every day.

It's not the best time of year to go, all the vegetation will be brown and it'll be chilly - but still a cool thing to see and nice views.

Other things to do:

- Check out the tree at Rockefeller Center
- See a show - I hear Book of Mormon is amazing, or see a concert at a place like Terminal 5 if you're into rock shows
- Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and have pizza at Grimaldi's
- Bar hop in the East and West Villages
- Top of the Rock - great views
