Seeing many dead birds lately. It's in areas where the occupants have a professional lawn service put pesticides down and then they put up a yellow marker, telling you to not walk on lawn if you're a kid, adult or pet.
Sounds quite toxic to me if the birds are dying from it. The lawn care service claims to be "environmentally friendly" too...
There's literally dozens of folks who use this professional lawn service, just on our block alone, and i've seen at least a dozen dead birds lying dead on lawns. I don't think cats are going after them either. The body is not mutilated or anything, just dead.
Most people in our neighborhood use professional lawn services including me and I have NEVER seen a dead bird on our lawn or our neighbors. Those little signs that they put on lawns are to advise you that a treatment has been made to the lawn and to be careful but the chemicals used are not going to kill you or a bird. It is illegal to use chemicals that are harmful to the environment in Connecticut and unless your neighbors are using an unlicensed company, I do not think there is an issue. Jay

Since you're seeing stuff that nobody else ever seems to see, maybe pics would help...
