I think I can agree partially that there is a strong evaluation of status, but the shoreline has its own complex formula for status that is not strictly materialistic. If you have money, that does not mean you will be automatically socially revered.

As for Bpt, we could be wrong in our assumptions. But I'll quote 2 adages that support different conclusions here... "Ignorance is bliss"; and "There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."

Let's consider that this is "% of families," so the denominator here could be small depending on the criteria for that. We could be talking mostly about Black rock.

I like Bridgeport, it deserves a turnaround, and has better neighborhoods than locals credit it.

But I can't imagine any poll or statistics that would rank its citizens 10th happiest. You have to question such a questionable and subjective measure, but this result would baffle 99 and a half percent of Bridgeport residents.

I believe it.

Of course, the underlining assumption is that they interviewed drug addicts while they were on their high. Its the only way I can imagine Bridgeport being considered a city full of the happiest people in Connecticut.

When it comes to Bridgeport, Family Guy is much more accurate than "The Daily Beast":

By the way, why didn't the OP waited until April Fools day? Its only a few weeks away. lol
