Hopefully this might help crime infested New Haven.

The largest-ever federal criminal sweep in Connecticut history netted 35 more alleged crack-dealing New Haven gang members Tuesday.

It began a little more than a year ago, targeting the group accused of dominating the New Haven crack trade and having a hand in much of the tit-for-tat deadly violence on the streets: the Dwight-Kensington-based Tre Bloods gang.

Here is another article about the leader of the Tre Bloods Gang arrest. Who also runs New Haven's Klean Up Krew. (Klean Up) is a street slang for a murder. Got to love his youtube rap video filmed in New Haven's in the article below rapping.

I think New Haven had a much more serious gang issue than many thought. Also, despite all these arrest there have been 3 more murders this past week. I have also heard that a lot of retaliation is being expected and to expect a surge of more violence.

Put the scumbags away! They are keeping an otherwise fantastic city down.

I love New Haven, it was my home most of my life and remains the home of much of my family. Much of it has potential but unfortunately violence is and will remain a problem for the forseeable future. On the hand, there are quite a few viable neighborhoods but also some that will never really be stable or decent places to raise a family. It's sad but those are the facts. Nonetheless, I plan on returning in the fall. My heart aches though for the children who have to grow witnessing their friends, familly and neighbors taken by the bullets...

Yeah, no improvement in sight for neighborhoods like the Hill, Dixwell/Newhallville, parts of Fair Haven.

Though I will say other parts of the city have become much safer than in the past.
