I know this probably seems like a shallow, silly question. Don't judge me. Haha

My daughter is moving into SHU next week and since we are coming from CA we will be purchasing all her bedding, bath, dorm supplies, etc. when we get there. I have noticed there are a couple Targets in the area and I know that Targets around here are sometimes hit or miss. Each carries different things due to the demographics. For all those die hard Target shoppers which Target has the best selection and is still somewhat close to SHU?
I feel like we are waiting until the last minute a lot of the stuff for dorm shopping will be picked over.
Thanks so much Target shoppers!

Literally every Target I've been to in CT has been exactly the same. Well, except for the Stamford and Trumbull locations, which are multiple floors.

Seriously though, you'll be fine wherever you go. Trumbull or Milford will be the closest. I personally prefer the Milford location since it seems easier to get around, but the merchandise should be nearly identical.

If you did the Milford Target, you'd also be really close to Ikea. The dorm outfitting king.

I'm not a Target shopper but I must admit I like the Milford one better than Stamford. Mostly because of the location and the fact there's above ground parking. :-)

The Target in the Westfield Trumbull Mall is going to be insanely packed with other Back-to-Schooler's.

Your best bet, in my opinion, is to consider going to the Hawley Lane Target that's also in Trumbull. Although it will still be busy, it's typically less insane than its mall counterparts (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas time, etc.).

I absolutely hate the Milford one.

Hawley Lane is by far the best.

Agree with the above. However, the Hawley Lane store isn't as well run as it once was.

Great- I will head to the Hawley Lane one or the Milford one if she wants to hit IKEA as well. Thanks so much for the advice!

Just curious, why?

I see nothing different between it and the Hawley Lane one or the one in Bethel, which seem to all have identical layouts, cleanliness, etc. I've been to the Milford one a few times recently and it's spotless. Much cleaner than the Trumbull mall one.

One word: clientele. It's full of trashy mall rats.

Oh, I go at off hours so I never really notice any difference in that respect. None of these big box stores attract the classiest folks to be totally blunt.
