Leaving Windsor and heading north at 4pm today I encountered a massive traffic snarl almost immediately upon hitting the highway like I've never seen in the area (been commuting here for the past year)

Was there some accident or construction or just an unusually high number of vehicles in the area at that time today? I couldn't find any news about it.
