There are a lot worse places than TPA to be stuck when its snowing 1000 miles to the north. Sounds like a bonus to me actually

SREF from NOAA showing the snow total plume. The arrow shows what the average of all the SREF members produced. 15-20" for BDL. One member shows 43". lol

Showing a high of 36 in Milford, so I'm guessing we won't be getting much snow on the coast?

FYI.. The NAM showed 50" in Boston metro.. the legend in map above only went to 30"! !

I seriously doubt it and remember... NAM is ALWAYS too wet.

GFS rolling out now... Euro at 1pm.

Temps above will crash as storm gets together. for the coast there will be a period of rain/snow mix but don't let that fool you, the amount of precip and the cold air filtering into this storm will accumulate snows quick. Probably 2-4 SW coast. 6-12" for coast northwardward

Thanks, Cambium. I was glued to your Sandy thread and you were spot on. I'll most likely be glued to this thread as well. Awesome job!

no offense but wasn't there a Feb storm last year that we all freaked out about but turned out to be nothing?

Probably a good idea.

I NEVER depend on the airlines (especially in the winter) if I HAVE to be somewhere at a certain time. Driving or taking the train are my only options if I have to be somewhere in my opinion.
