Are there any local farm in Connecticut that offers water buffalo milk? This is like the best tasting milk to have.

I hear beaver milk is much tastier. It's hell to milk them, however.

Unfortunately, Bufali di Vermont is no longer in business. They moved their herd back to Quebec a few years back and no longer sell across the border.

Finding water buffalo cheeses is not too difficult. Finding the milk is near to impossible as virtually all of it is presold to cheese makers.

Water buffalo cheese is the original and best mozzarella cheese. Yes, Italians raise water buffalo.

Lots of raw goat and cow milk options in the state. Still tastes a lot better than the store crap.

I have a few sources.

Villa Gourmet - Milford
Stonewall Dairy - a farm in Cornwall
Edge of the Woods - New Haven
Four Seasons - Branford
Chamomile - Danbury

There's also a farm in Monroe and Foxfire Farms. Haven't been to either yet.

There was a goat milk farm in Southbury, not sure if it still exists.
