I keep seeing those "Fast Eddy" ads, and I have some old jewelry I could definitely use the cash from - any opinions on where to go? I'm in Fairfield, but I don't mind a drive.
I would go to Becker's in West Hartford. I have purchased and sold watches there and felt like they were fair. They only want quality jewelry, however. If you have good stuff, it's worth the drive, IMO. They're they only place I have been able to find Breitling preowned in good condition.

Don't have to drive to WH. They've been advertising like crazy, and i'm positive that i've seen buying locations listed for Orange and Branford, amongst others.
A jewelry store owner who's a friend of mine said that scrap prices don't vary much from store to store. Some people will claim that they give you the best prices, but it's pretty much the same as anyone else would.
