I agree with FILF, but would probably opt for a root canal before voting for him

Probably not. I think he's made some really bad decisions, specifically the tax increase, the bus way and the gun control law. I don't think he will get the moderate/independent vote this time around.

Yes. The fact that he's not a republican alone is enough to get my vote. lol

You guys are funny, and brought back a comical memory. Decades ago, my private high school required for a Political Science class we volunteer working with a party in any capacity. I ended up calling Milford residents polling for our incumbent mayor. His campaign manager asked how it was going, I said "30% of the people are unfamiliar with the issues". He said , so of the other 70%, what are the highlights for him regarding how they feel? (paraphrasing). I said "The 30% are his highlight.".

He was demolished, so badly his city clerk, elected easily over 30 plus years, actually had her only reasonably close race.

When the first voting precinct came in and the clerks' race was tied, the mayor's campaign manager's face went white. He knew it was over.

No, I don't intend to vote for Malloy in 2014.

I would look favorably upon a Chris Christie-type alternative if one came along in 2014, because Malloy has quickly become part of the "system" and has relinquished his outsider perspective in my view. But if Tom Foley is the alternative, I'd be hard-pressed to not vote for Malloy again.

Lol, I don't want to smoke meth but I am certainly not going to vote for Mr. Malloy again.

I really like Mr. Malloy because we went to the same HS although he is a few years older than me. I was rooting for him but it looks like he has made some very bad decisions in regards to the taxes. Too bad.
