Our conductor hung on the horn going through West Redding before the cross gate was installed.

Of course, the Danbury line has street grade crossings so the horn is required. There's no street grade crossings on the main New Haven line.

Well I finally moved to Milford, and I went with Metro Star Apartments. The building is right next to Archie Moores downtown. Its shared between apartments and some offices. Its a very short walk to the train station.

So far I really like it here. The area has just about everything very close by - supermarkets, gyms, restaurants. There's a nice parking garage in the apartment building which has been amazing to have during the recent snow storms. You get your own remote to open the garage door. Your car stays pretty warm in there which is welcome on cold mornings.

Inside, the apartments have granite counters, stainless steel appliances, front loading washer/dryer, a glass top stove (a type I've never used before). There isn't much storage or space but I need very little.

I'm spending a little more than I had planned here, but I think its worth it.

Congrats. You'll like it even more in the summer. Rumor is there might be something exciting going next door where Indigo was.

And also on the Danbury line, although it doesn't bother me.

I'm curious what might be going in there?

I can't really say, except it's possibly going to be a local chain that does very well.
