Does anyone know if any local bars or other establishments will be hosting "Game of Thrones" nights for season 4? If so, where? Preferably in Fairfield County.

Thank you!

I'd be interested in one in southeastern CT, but I don't really know of any anywhere.

This is a thing? Don't people just watch it at home or online? I for one don't have HBO so I just watch it on Megashare when it comes up. I never really compared watching GoT or Black Sails to something like a sporting event.

yes, there are Game of Thrones events around the country - some people even dress like characters from the show.

(I'm not that into it, though I've read the books 3 times now)

clutchrider - It's a thing, for sure. All shows with strong followings have this sort of thing.

I prefer to watch with a big group of people than in my house, personally. Just makes any event more exciting!

I guess it makes sense, they publicize those Bachelor Viewing Parties. Just never heard of any around here.

I might suggest going to a game of thrones forum and posting there in the appropriate forum - westeros.org is a surprisingly large and active community of fans of the books and the TV show.
