Branford, because you don't have to cross the bridge daily, and it's a nice, relatively affordable town with good schools.

I agree that Branford would be a good choice. I would also consider Guilford and Madison as well. All great towns with slightly different feels. Still they have nice town centers, a lot of family activities and good schools. Jay

My first choices would be Madison or Guilford (personal preference), but Branford would be a fine option as well.

Guilford or Madison for the schools. Probably Guilford since it's a bit more affordable and offers a shorter commute.
