Those aren't the types of things people want to have at their doorstep when they're being charged high rent.
Well yeah they'll always be police blotter incidents around, sure, no question, especially in denser areas. Just recently a Noroton Heights man was busted for selling fentanyl and crack in town. If you're not familiar, Nor Heights is the densest part of Darien where some homes can fetch up to 2M or more these days. It happens.
I know a bunch of downsizers in those newer buildings by Rex Marine, they friggin love it like you would not believe. The rooftop parties, the boats across the street in the slip, they go nuts. You wouldn't believe the things that come out of their mouths my God, they're living on Cloud Nine.

I have sad news and good news. First the sad news. Norwalk’s Chick-fil-a is closed.

Person 1: “Nooooo…” cry.

Person 2: “I don’t feel right. Someone call the EMS.” Right hand on chest.

Person 3: “My life is over.”

However….

Person 1, 2 & 3: Stop what they are doing and got attentive.

The good news is that is being renovated. The closing is temporary.

Person 1: “Thank you God, thank you, thank you.”

Person 2: “Oh, I feel fine. Call back the EMS and tell them not to come.”

Person 3: “I’m born again!”

The owners of Manresa Island in Norwalk are planning to redevelop it with single family homes once the state’s Walk Bridge contractor is finished using it and it can be cleaned up. Interesting. Jay

They will finally take down the big blue power plant building structure and put up multi $M waterfront homes. Minimum 5-6k sq ft apiece.
Don’t worry guys, it won’t be big ugly boxes for the working class.

Norwalk’s Wall Street Theater has been acquired by the New Haven Center for the Performing Arts. The Center operates The College Street Music Hall and the Westville Music Bowl. It’s anticipated that the Center will continue and strengthen the theater’s ties to the partners of the Wall Street Theater Company. That would be great.

The historic Norwalk National Bank building has been converted to medical facilities for Stamford Health. What a great reuse of the building.

Not so much development, but an interesting walk by Mathew’s Park and vicinity in Norwalk. Doesn’t SteveM85 lives in one if the streets near there?

PS. There should be a thread of videos of CT or convert the photo thread to include videos too.

Good point. You can post videos on the Photo thread. I’ll even change the name of it. Thanks for the suggestion. JayCT, Moderator

Not me. You might have me confused with StevieB here or Stephy19.
