I just got service two days ago to my outdoor/covered patio and did not get a multi-room DVR. Stop.

The old 8300HD? Yeah that box was slow.. sometimes it's so slow then all the key presses that got delayed start to all happen at once making the box jump to things I did not want it to do.

Yes. That's what I'm talking about. They really don't have a great dvr, it's one of the worst out of all of them.

I have 4 of the old ones, 3 of the new ones and for the main tv a windows PC running Media Center.. I'd have Fios if I could, but that line is somewhere right down the road.

Another problem, if you are using Fios with 105 Internet and you have a crappy wifi card, that wifi card will be holding you back. A wifi card is the component that gets internet signals, and cheap ones give slow internet. In order to abstain 105 Internet, you should buy a Cat 6 cable and hook up the cable from your router to your computer. A good wifi card will also help, if WE isn't an option (Asus makes good wifi cards).

As for Fios TV, I am unsure on that, but as of now, X1 from the Xfinity Double Play is amazing IMHO.
