I found out that the Hawthorne Inn on the Berlin Turnpike in Berlin has closed. Not sure what happened since it has been around for decades. Anyone here know anything about it? Hopefully someone will come along and reopen it soon. Jay

Hard to figure out what is going on over there. They say they are closed for renovations but appear to have sent all their employees on their way.

Here's an article. I would hate to see it close permanently- it's always been a good centrally located business conference location.
