Hey does anyone know anything about south norwalk Fairfield ave area near the south Norwalk train station? I was looking at houses there and the area seems really sketchy. Am I wrong?

Not a bad area but it is little dumpy but it get worst south of South Norwalk train station toward Ely Ave, South Main, Woodward Ave, Day St vicinity. East Norwalk, Cranberry, Rowayton, Merritt Parkway is better areas

I missed the Fairfield Ave part, that would be ok if your a single and want to be close to the action without paying 600-700sK for new Sono condo construction or walking distance to the train.
You avoid the Ely Ave, South Main area part or in that direction at any price.

Have you actually driven around that area? A renaisance is trying to get a foothold in SoNo, look at Washington St. But its taken about 30 years to get to where they are now. So that movement has to advance about another half mile or more to reach Fairfield, you can do the math.

So about 15 more years before the movement creeps up Fairfield ave?

I used to on Van Zant Street near the train station. Do you mean East Avenue and not Fairfield Ave? If the condo is on East Ave exactly where is it?
