Do any of them let you search by fuel type? One of my requirements for my next house is gas heat. I used to click on every listing on realtor.com looking for the fuel type but they seem to have removed that info from every listing on the site.

I have been using primarily listingbook, which was set up by my agent. I also used zilllow & realtor.com, but only briefly trulia (similar enough to zillow that it got too confusing). Listingbook is generally the most up to date, but their map function is terrible. I also hated you can't generally look at multiple items and even if you dislike and hide something, it pops up every time the information is updated in the Home Finder. Their quick search is great, and if you want to know better sales history is also good (but filtering is iffy).

On all the sites, it was hard to narrow out for natural gas. You could do a word/description search but there are several different ways of identifying. The best is to get your feet on the ground and look to make sure some houses that still have oil heat but a natural gas line are not excluded from your search. Also, be on the lookout that gas stoves are not a sign of natural gas heat - there are quite a few houses with propane. At minimum, if you think you might like the house it probably warrants a drive-by. There really aren't too many homes with natural gas unfortunately, so though that was a want for us as well we most likely can't get it.
