We are going to be relocating (Pfizer) from Illinois to the Groton area. We're interested in a couple of houses in the Pequot Ave. area in New London (does this neighborhood have a name?). We're getting crime information from the police dept., but I'm wondering if anyone has other information about this area. What type of people live here? Are there any young families? We're concerned that because of the reputation of the New London schools there won't be a lot of thirtysomethings in the area.

Here if you click on "birdseye" view you can see the particular houses you are looking at if you type in the address. Dont know tons about new london. But it looks like a great street.

Default Pequot Avenue New London

Have you already relocated to Pequot Avenue? We lived there for many years. The neighborhood doesn't really have a name. But when you say you live on Pequot Avenue everyone knows exactly what you mean. If you still need information because you are still in Illinois let me know.
