~Southern New England Demographic Update 2016 (2015) ~

These are the American Fact Finder Demographic updates for Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island for July 1, 2016. Occasionally i had to grab some stats form 2015. This is for the purpose of discussion of trends we see here and just so that we have updated demographics when people are posting on this forum. Rather than referring to 2010 demographics, or just guessing. Some countries such as the UK and Canada do 5 year censuses. Hope you all enjoy this took me a while to do!

MA is the fastest growing state in the Northeast considering the fact that the only area growing is the Boston metro. That says a lot. It's impossible for us to compete with a world class city like Boston who has really turned themselves around. We gutted our cities years ago with no regard that trends wouldn't reverse back to cities.

Let's dissect these numbers further by race:

Hourly Earnings per Race (2017), based on BLS Report, Page 6: https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/wkyeng.pdf

1- Asian: $ 1,019
2- White: $ 894
3- Black: $ 679
4- Latino: $ 649

Although each of these 3 states has gained in Asian population (highest earning), given the sheer number of whites, the 4% drop in their numbers is big and bad news.

So, all these three states are replacing good taxpayers with worse ones. Is everybody now giddy about this?
