Anyone have experience doing this recently? Trying to get a sense for reasonable quotes to move a queens 1 bedroom into a single family house.

Would love to hear recommendations.

This was pre-covid so I am sure things have changed, but we had a great experience with FlatRate. They moved us from Battery Park City to Westport in August 2019. I don't recall the price but they were the lowest quote we received (by a decent amount) and they did a great job for us - fast and efficient, but thorough and careful too. As with all of these kinds of things, it really depends on the crew you get and other factors, but overall we were very happy with the experience.

Many have a 3 hour minimum. If that's enough time. Could be 900. Paid that for the heaviest most awkward stuff last year. Buy them lunch. Always feed the guys!

We used FlatRate in October for a similarly distanced move and it cost about $1k, totally worth it.
