Interesting. I had to lookup what a "seepage pit" is.

https://inspectapedia.com/septic/Seepage_Pits.php

Apparently is used when a leach field is impractical. Wish it had been an option when in the late 50s my step-father and I hand-dug a leach field in Ohio. Probably 400' in 4 rows with clay tiles It was a 100 x 300 lot.

I see today it has city sewer and water.

Is it a seepage pit or a septic tank? I thought that seepage pits, like cesspools were no longer allowed but I could be wrong. It could be grandfathered in. I also did not realize you aren’t hooked up to sewers otherwise I would have noted to have it checked by a septic guy. Glad you figured it out. Jay

I would wholeheartedly agree here. Avoiding Internet septic sleuths is in their best interests. Google or the yellow pages and a phone call placed to a pro is the way to go.

Same here, thought you were on sewer. But hey the advice here is still worth what you paid for.
Probably more when you factor in the entertainment value!

Are you suggesting I shouldn't perform a tonsillectomy on my son despite seeing a youtube video on tonsillectomy's?
