Good idea. For clarification purposes, this is a Silver Alert, which indicates the girl to probably have run away. An Amber Alert would be issued for a child under 18 who has been abducted and is in danger of serious bodily harm or death. Thankfully, she doesn’t meet that criteria.

You're right it's not an Amber Alert, but weird they called it a "Silver Alert". I always thought that was the term when a senior citizen goes missing......

Nah. Silver Alerts are for missing endangered adults, high risk missing people or missing endangered children.
