Hi there,

I am moving from Hawaii to Stamford. Since I used to swim in the pool in my condo after work, I am thinking about renting an apartment with a indoor heated pool.

I found Newbury Common, but I am a little worried about its neighborhood and last year's flood of its garage. I heard (not verified) that the flood totalled over 100 cars there.

Can anyone recommend apartments with indoor heated pools that are open all year around? Thanks and Aloha!

Their aren't TONS of apartments in CT in general with indoor swimming pools. Though it does seem Newbury Common has one. I'm not familiar with the area it's in but wanted to wish you luck.

I've been to Hawaii before...so I feel your pain having to leave their for CT...

Newbury Common does have an indoor, heated pool that is open year-round. Its a pretty convenient apartment complex and the surrounding area, while it appears a bit sketchy, is actually fine too. There are a ton of families in the complex who have kids and there have never been any safety issues. Its a minute from downtown/train station and North Stamford is also easily accessible b'cos the building is located on Washington Blvd. that connects directly to Long Ridge & High Ridge Road (that take you to N. Stamford).
