How easy or hard is it to take the bus from Hartford's Bradley Airport to Wethersfield? It would be on a weekday.

The CTTransit site is a little difficult to navigate for someone who doesn't know the area. I'm hoping to get a better sense of whether it's worth it to even try the bus or if I should just bite the bullet and get an airport shuttle.

Thanks!

Or you could take one of the million cabs that hang around the airport.

Default Bus from Hartford's Bradley Airport to Wethersfield?

Don't aggrevate yourself trying to get you and your luggage on a bus to get to Wethersfield. Bite the bullet and take a shuttle...might cost you more but the aggrevation factor will be way less.

You would have to take the hourly express bus into downtown Hartford, where you would transfer to one of the several locals that run to different parts of Wethersfield. Depending on how long you have to wait for the local in downtown Hartford, the trip could take between 45 minutes and an hour. Normally, it takes about 20-25 minutes (non rush-hour) to drive between Bradley and Wethersfield.

I'd recommend a shuttle or a cab. The cab fare to Wethersfield will probably run between $45 and $50 (without tip). The fare was $45 when I last took a cab to Newington, which borders Wethersfield.

Thanks. I'll check into the cost of the shuttle versus the cab, but sounds like that's the way to go.
