I found my iPod Shuffle which I'd misplaced for over a year. Maybe even two years. I put it into its dock and charged it. The green light says its now charged, but when I press the play button, nothing happens. Silence. Is it dead? Can it rise from the grave? Advice?? Many thanks. Missing my tunes.

Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds and see what happens.

Thanks, Peregrine, still dead, I think it's gone to the Apple graveyard. I found some restore program online I'm going to try.
