I have a Samsung LED tv that has some smudges I cant seem to clear up. I tried a product called "uber screen cleaner" I got from Target. It came with a 2 sided cloth , but that seemed to make it worse. Is the Monster brand kit any good? What do you recommend?

A very soft cloth, and WATER. Nothing else.

I soak the cloth in water, and wring it out so it's only damp. I then wipe the screen lightly only UP and DOWN. Then, I wipe it only Side to Side. Then I wipe it off with a dry soft towel. Only move in straight lines, do NOT make circular motions on a screen!

I've never found a cleaner that hasn't damaged the screen in some way, but water can't hurt it.

It seems as if the smudges are within the screen if you get what I mean. They clear up , but re appear the next day

It sounds like you have a separation within the levels of the screen. Is it near one of the edges?

Yea, it doesn't sound like something that can be cleaned. Any liquid product should have cleared that up if so.
I use Windex, plain and simple. You don't need anything fancy. Someone here will say I'm crazy, but I'm not.
I've done it for years on everything I own and the 50 screens I have at work. And the 100's I had at jobs before. Windex will not damage the screen. Just spray it ON the cloth, not on the screen.

Invisible Glass. Best I've ever found. Gave away all our Windex. Agree re spray on cloth, not screen.

Microfiber cloth with water works perfectly for me. That's on a touch screen that's get full of greasy fingerprints constantly, so if it works on that I can't imagine why it would't work on the simple dust that accumulates on a standard LCD screen.
